At its core, Fayded exists to make conscious living feel calm, achievable and supportive, not pressured or perfect.
Fayded was created during a season of life that called for something quieter, slower and more meaningful.
After years working as a registered nurse, including time spent in remote communities, I saw firsthand how fragile life can be and how much women carry. Burnout, compassion fatigue and the pressure to always be strong were constant companions, alongside my own experiences with fertility challenges and the early intensity of motherhood.
Becoming a mother shifted everything. I longed for a home that felt calmer and safer. I wanted fewer things, but better ones.
During maternity leave, I realised I didn’t want to return to nursing purely for income. I wanted to build something of my own. Something creative, purposeful and flexible enough to grow alongside my family.
We take a considered, honest approach to everything we create.
That means choosing natural fibres over plastic blends. Producing in small batches rather than overstocking. Being transparent about where and how our products are made. And designing pieces that fit real life, not idealised versions of it.
Sustainability, for us, is not about perfection or performance. It is about progress, intention and care. We believe conscious living should feel supportive, not complicated.
We do the research, testing and decision making so our customers can shop with confidence and peace of mind.
