Our Values
Are you Australian owned?
Yes. Fayded is proudly Australian owned and operated. We are not a drop-shipping business. All products are thoughtfully designed or curated by us, held locally, and packed and shipped with care from Australia.
Who makes your products?
We work with small, trusted manufacturing partners who share our values of quality and care. Some of our linen and organic cotton is sourced and sewn offshore, with other products made by local Australian artisans. The one thing we always live by is transparency and natural materials at the core of every product.
How do you pack orders?
Orders are packed plastic-free, using recyclable or compostable materials.
Why don’t you label everything as “eco-friendly”?
We’re mindful about how we talk about sustainability. Rather than broad claims, we focus on making thoughtful material choices, producing in small batches and being transparent about how and where our products are made.

Product & Materials
Why do you use linen?
Linen is soft, strong and naturally beautiful. It’s a timeless fabric that holds up to everyday life while still feeling elegant. Made from flax, linen is a low-impact fibre that requires less water and fewer resources to grow.
What does OEKO-TEX® certified mean?
OEKO-TEX® certification means the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and is considered safe for you and your home. It offers reassurance that the materials touching your skin are gentle and responsibly produced.
What is GOTS certification?
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is widely recognised as the gold standard for organic textiles. It considers the entire supply chain, from how fibres are grown to how they’re processed, ensuring strong environmental and social standards throughout.
Are your products suitable for families and children?
Many of our products are chosen with families in mind, using natural materials and avoiding unnecessary plastics where possible. Specific material and care details can always be found on individual product pages.
Can I compost your dishcloths?
Yes. Our Swedish dishcloths are made from natural cellulose and cotton. Once they’ve reached the end of their life, you can cut them up and add them to your home compost.
How should I care for my Fayded products?
Most of our pieces are designed to be lived with and washed regularly. Care instructions vary slightly between products, so we recommend checking individual product pages for specific details.
