Disappointed

The lid barely seems to fit and I have to push it on extremely hard, curling the edge over to create a seal. The size is also smaller than expected, better suited to a child, not an adult (unfortunately I bought this for myself) the separating walls also don't reach all the way up to the lid so there could be contamination if wet foods are used in this

Hi Alexandra, thank you for taking the time to share this. I'm sorry the bento didn't land the way you'd hoped.

You’ve highlighted something I can make clearer on the product page: while the three compartments are divided, they aren’t individually sealed against the lid, so I wouldn’t recommend packing very wet/runny foods in one compartment if you need absolutely no transfer between sections. It's designed to seal firmly, that snugness is what keeps it leak resistant in a bag. If yours is taking excessive force, I'd genuinely love to check it, as that's not how it should feel.

They are 800ml in total, a 400ml & 2 x 200ml compartments so if you prefer a singular larger lunch they might not be the best fit. The sizes are listed but I'll look at making a size comparison clearer to avoid future disappointment.

Yes — the lid has a secure seal. As with any container, click the lid fully closed before you head out.
Yes — the silicone is microwave safe. Remove the lid before heating to let steam escape. Because it's LFGB-certified, you're heating food in a material tested to a stricter standard than FDA.
It's a generous single-meal size — comfortably holds a full lunch like a grain bowl, pasta, or a salad with sides. If you want something larger or tougher, the 950ml stainless steel bento is the bigger sibling.
Choose silicone if you want to microwave it. Choose stainless if you want the toughest, most rugged option and a bit more capacity. Many people own both for different days.
